In my Southern NJ garden I inherited it growing on a fence around my pool....it was pretty, but vigourous as can be...and when it bloomed the allergy attack from the pollen was like no other!! It makes me sneeze just thinking about it! The flip side is it did provide pretty green privacy and tolerate me shearing it back severly each spring to prevent it from eating the house!GardenGoddesshttps://www.blogger.com/profile/01251734569971064810noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-6655299337501912297.post-8189331462074727442010-03-24T14:22:54.499-04:002010-03-24T14:22:54.499-04:00I, too, inherited a Bradford Pear when we bought o...I, too, inherited a Bradford Pear when we bought our house. It's in the back corner, protected by some large hardwoods and tall pines, and is unlike any other Bradford Pear I've seen in terms of size and shape. It really is pretty back there in that corner.<br />WUNC-TV had a program on invasive plants last week and the Bradford Pear was one of those named. Also English Ivy and Ligustrum - I inherited both of those, too.Ginnyhttp://www.ginnysgarden.blogspot.comnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-6655299337501912297.post-80614244003109388922010-03-24T13:58:58.603-04:002010-03-24T13:58:58.603-04:00Your spring is looking wonderfully cheerful!Your spring is looking wonderfully cheerful!Kimberlyhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/18123627573356760362noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-6655299337501912297.post-40941952433470401842010-03-24T12:06:39.296-04:002010-03-24T12:06:39.296-04:00A lovely spring display.
